The main Airport in Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka's only international airport, the Colombo Airport is called Bandaranaike International Airport (and onced names and also known as Katunayake International Airport and Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport).

The airport is located 35 km (22 mi) north of Colombo in in Katunayake. For currency exchange and re-exchange facilities there are six banks operate at the arrival lobby. There are two car parking areas and taxis are available at this Colombo airport.
